Shave soap comes wrapped in black twisted paper twine. Creating a custom shave soap is the reason we got into soap making. Our shave soap is handmade in the cold process method of soap making, and includes special amounts of saponified olive, coconut, palm, castor, and sweet almond oils, plus shea butter and bentonite clay. This combination lends itself to a thick, lasting lather and a smooth shave, leaving your skin clean and well moisturized. Use our shave soap in place of your old shaving cream. For the best lather, we recommend a high quality shave brush.
Unscented Gentleman
Not everyone needs a scent. The Unscented Gentleman is fine just the way he is - clean and fresh. This soap comes without added essential or fragrance oils, also making it great for those with sensitive skin.
Barbershop Gentleman - Bay Rum
Our own version of the “Bay Rum” scent, a men's classic. Bay, citrus, spice, and a touch of vanilla are reminiscent of the classic barbershop shave.
Beatnik Gentleman - Coffee and Chocolate
Snap your fingers to this delicious mocha scent. Coffee and more coffee combine with real cocoa for a rejuvenating soap treat. Chocolate is known for being an antioxidant and natural skin softener, while coffee absorbs body odors. Now you can have your coffee and wash with it, too. The Beatnik Gentleman soap is dark brown and have a brown, chocolaty lather. Contains coffee, cocoa powder, and fragrance oil.
Classic Gentleman - Cedar and Citrus
A perfect, handsome, manly blend of cedar, musk, citrus, and spice that can only be described as ‘classic’.
Globe Trotting Gentleman - Sandalwood and Spice
Sandalwood and spice come together to form a scent that would be at home anywhere a pith helmet and compass lay. The Globe Trotting Gentleman combines scents of sandalwood, amber, and spice into a well-traveled and worldly blend.
Old West Gentleman - Leather and Musk
Tough and bold, the Old West Gentleman is a masculine mix of leather and musk.
Robust Gentleman - Tea Tree and Rosemary
For the gentleman coming off the field or going out with the ladies, Robust Gentleman is a scent with purpose. Rosemary, tea tree oil, and grapefruit seed extract have a clean, fresh scent, and are all known for their antifungal, antimicrobial, and astringent properties. Helps remove dirt, sweat, or whatever you have on you, making it perfect for the locker room. Real rosemary in each bar has the added benefit of gentle exfoliation.
Surrealist Gentleman - Absinthe and Orchid
For the gentleman who doesn't mind a little paint in his mustache, comes this absinthe and orchid scent. The Surrealist Gentleman is most strongly scented with anise, with a waft of orchid and a base of manly oakmoss, making it altogether quirky, artistic, and masculine.
Our soaps contain essential and fragrance oils.
Each round of shave soap weighs between 2.5-3.5 oz.
All of our soaps are handmade in small batches using the cold-process method of soap making, and fully cured for at least 4 weeks. Handmade soap retains its natural glycerin, which is a great conditioner for the skin. Our soaps are vegan friendly and free of harsh detergents or preservatives.
To maximize the lifespan of your soap, keep it stored in a cool, dry place before use, and make sure water can drain away from it so it can dry between uses.
